Ardmore, Okla., October 25, 2016 – Ameripointe Logistics Hub announced that it has signed a frac sand transload operating agreement with CIG Logistics, a service provider for the oil and gas industry. The agreement allows for joint marketing of the development of transloading and storage services at Ameripointe’s newly constructed logistics terminal in Ardmore, OK.

The Ardmore development is strategically located between Dallas and Kansas City just off of I-35. It also falls between the South Central Oklahoma Oil Province (SCOOP) and the Sooner Trend Anadarko Basin Canadian and Kingfisher (STACK) shale plays with minimal trucking distances and quick access to common trucking routes.

Specifically designed to help customers reduce supply chain logistics costs for a variety of goods, the Ameripointe hub includes:

·         Accommodation for more than 200 fully loaded rail cars
·         More than 1,500 acres of industrial development land
·         Direct access to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railway

·         Home to the 1.2M sq. Dollar General’s Midwest distribution facility
·         Foreign Trade Zone

The Ameripointe Logistics Hub is a multi-modal facility intended to serve the South Central corridor. In partnership with Sovereign OK Development and the Ardmore Development Authority, Ameripointe provides a location where potential shippers and distributors can gain entry into the marketplace in a short period of time with access to transportation infrastructure that only a few industrial parks can provide.

“We are excited to be working with CIG Logistics” said Brad Haines, CEO of the Ameripointe Logistics Hub, “their experience in transload operations along with inventory management and business intelligence will be a great asset in developing the Ardmore facility”.

Michael Collins, CIG Logistics Vice President of Business Development added,
